WOSI (the Women of Saint Ignatius - the Catholic Women's Group on post) will welcome in the new year with a White Elephant Gift Exchange. The only rule for the gifts...you cannot go out and buy anything for this exchange. I'll be taking in a couple odds and ends, mostly Christmas-y things that I have had for a while and don't use anymore. I have a really neat metal worked sled with Santa and a reindeer. I love it, but I did not even put it out this year. I also have a stack of cookie tins (I'll fill with cookies, cocoa mix, chex mix, etc and package them together) and about eight votive candle holders.
I'll check back in after the exchange and let you know what fun thing I brought home.
